CSEA will award the following college scholarships for children of CSEA represented employees in New York State who are graduating high school seniors:
Irving Flaumenbaum Memorial Scholarship
(Three $1,000 Scholarships in each of CSEA’s six Regions)
Pearl Carroll & Associates Award
in memory of Charles Foster
(One $2,500 award to a high school student entering SUNY System)
Met Life Award
in memory of Joseph D. Lochner
(One $2,500 award not limited to a student entering SUNY)

Targeted Tuition Program for Nursing
Dear CSEA-represented NYS Institutional Services Unit (ISU) employee:
The NYS & CSEA Partnership for Education and Training is pleased to announce the continuation of the Statewide Targeted Tuition Program for Nursing.

This program provides tuition assistance to CSEA-represented NYS employees who are matriculated in either an LPN or RN program. Eligible employees can receive two targeted tuition benefits (vouchers or reimbursements). Each targeted benefit can provide tuition assistance for one non-credit nursing course up to $1,180 or one credit-bearing nursing course, up to a maximum of four credits at the resident tuition per credit rate, not to exceed $295 per credit. Applications must be received by March 31, 2020 and courses must be in session sometime between April 1, 2019 and March 31, 2020.
In addition to the nursing program, many members use the standard Tuition Benefits Program to take courses in EKG Technician, Home Health Aide, Medical Assisting, Nurse Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, and Phlebotomy.

Targeted Tuition Program for Welding
The NYS & CSEA Partnership for Education and Training is pleased to announce the continuation of the Targeted Tuition Program for Welding which provides tuition assistance to CSEA-represented NYS Operational Services Unit (OSU) and Division of Military and Naval Affairs (DMNA) employees who wish to take welding courses.
Eligible members can receive up to two targeted tuition benefits (vouchers or reimbursements). Each targeted benefit can cover one non-credit welding course up to $1,100 or one credit-bearing welding course, up to a maximum of four credits at the resident tuition per credit rate, not to exceed $275 per credit.

Targeted Tuition Program for Information Technology
The NYS & CSEA Partnership for Education and Training is pleased to announce the Targeted Tuition Program for Information Technology. This program provides tuition assistance to CSEA-represented NYS Executive Branch employees that are matriculated in a Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or Management Information Systems program.
Eligible employees can receive up to two targeted tuition benefits (vouchers or reimbursements). Each targeted benefit can cover one credit-bearing Information Technology course, up to a maximum of four credits at the resident tuition per credit rate, not to exceed $275 per credit.
